Founder of the Global Education Foundation in high-level talks at UN Headquarters
The experience gained from high-level talks at UN Headquarters — including with Secretary-General António Guterres — is one of the pillars on which the Global Education Foundation is built.

Michał Anioł Tuczapski, Founder and President of the Management Board of the Global Education Foundation (Fundacja Edukacji Globalnej), brings to the Foundation's work first-hand experience of cooperation at the highest levels of the United Nations system. In January 2025 he took part in a series of meetings at UN Headquarters in New York devoted to the participation of the younger generation in decision-making processes, human rights, and the international community's response to contemporary crises.
The talks, held in the second half of January 2025, addressed the place of young people in global mechanisms for security, education, and the protection of human rights — the areas that today form the foundation of the Global Education Foundation's mission.
Those he met included representatives of the highest authorities of the United Nations and of the permanent missions of member states, among them:
- H.E. António Guterres — Secretary-General of the United Nations

- H.E. Bob Rae — Permanent Representative of Canada to the UN, President of the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC)

- H.E. Felipe Paullier — UN Assistant Secretary-General for Youth Affairs

- H.E. Philippe Lazzarini — Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA)
- H.E. Cornel Feruță — Permanent Representative of Romania to the UN
- H.E. Filipo Tarakinikini — Permanent Representative of Fiji to the UN
- H.E. Antje Leendertse — Permanent Representative of Germany to the UN

- Ms Alicia Guadalupe Buenrostro Massieu — Deputy Permanent Representative of Mexico to the UN

- Mr Mohammed Khalifa H. Alnasr — Deputy Permanent Representative of Qatar to the UN
- Mr Michał Miarka — Deputy Permanent Representative of Poland to the UN

- Mr Renaud Savignat — Head of the Human Rights Section, Delegation of the European Union to the UN
- Ms Elaf A. Al-Omair — Head of the Human Rights Section, Mission of Saudi Arabia to the UN
The talks focused on concrete mechanisms for including young leaders in security and human-rights protection systems, on strengthening the role of education as a tool for building social resilience, and on recognising young people as full participants in decision-making within international structures. The discussions were part of the implementation of United Nations Security Council Resolution 2250 on Youth, Peace and Security, and of the broader framework of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
The experience gained from direct dialogue with the institutions of the United Nations system is one of the pillars on which the Global Education Foundation is built. The Foundation's mission is to develop global education, to strengthen the civic engagement of the younger generation, and to raise awareness of the Sustainable Development Goals, human rights, and intercultural dialogue — in the conviction that young people are not merely recipients of public policies, but their co-creators.
